Sigrids Fuchsienseite - sending pictures

Thank you very much for sending fuchsia pictures

I highly appreciate every good picture of fuchsia flowers which I receive and I’ll try to publish it as soon as

possible - but I hope you’ll understand that I’ve got some rules to do this.

Please send only own pictures of fuchsia flowers (no pictures of the whole plant or parts of your garden)

without any text (e. g. name of the cultivar, watermarks …) on them.

The pictures should be in good quality and the colours should be representative for this cultivar.

Persons or even faces must not been seen on the pictures.

I prefer JPG- pictures with the dimension 960x1200px (1200x960px) or 960x1440px (1440x960px).

I may resize all other dimensions or even cut the pictures to fit to these sizes.

The name of the cultivar should somehow appear in the filename of the picture.

Please send only pictures of registered cultivars (AFS + Eurofuchsia) which are not published on my homepage

or better pictures of fuchsias which are already published on my website.

Sometimes I have to reject a picture. In this case I will let you know why I had to do this.

If you want a link to a website

You should be the owner or administrator of this website or should have the permission of the owner or administrator of the website for linking.

The website should be a fuchsia- website.

Commercial websites are allowed if they offer a good variety of fuchsias or fuchsia products.

Winter hardiness

As Sigrids Fuchsienseite is a German website the hardiness definitions refer to central Europe.

Hardy: USDA- Zone 7 = -18 to -12°C (0 to 10°F).

Half- hardy: USDA- Zone 6 = -12 to -7°C (10 to 20°F). This cultivar may even survive lower temperatures if it is protected well against the cold.

Not hardy: All other cultivars.

After transmitting the pictures

I will send you an email as soon as possible but sometimes it takes a little bit longer.

Notice that sometimes the transmission of the form doesn’t work well. I receive nothing but the letters (no pictures), so it might happen that you have to send me the pictures again after receiving my confirmation- email.

Data protection

For my own security I will store your personal data (name, email-address and IP address) at a safe place. I will neither use these data for private or commercial concerns nor will I give these data to third persons.
